Weight Loss & Body Composition

What is medically supervised weight loss?

A structured, individualized weight management program guided by an experienced health team. It combines a personalized nutrition and activity approach, regular check-ins, accountability and objective measurements like Styku 3D body composition scans.

How is Thrive's program different from dieting?

Dieting usually means a generic plan you follow alone. Thrive builds the program around your body and goals, provides weekly in-clinic guidance, and tracks fat, muscle and measurements, so you always know what is actually changing.

What does a Styku body scan measure?

Body fat percentage, fat mass, lean muscle mass, segmental measurements and key circumferences. Scans are quick, painless and compared over time to show real progress beyond scale weight.

How fast will I see results?

Individual results vary widely, and we do not promise timelines. What we can promise is objective measurements at every check-in, so whatever is happening, you will see honest data about it.

Do you offer a free weight loss consultation?

Yes. It typically includes a consultation, evaluation, blood pressure check, weight check-in, and a Styku 3D body composition imaging scan, with a clear next step and no pressure to commit.

Is weight loss guaranteed?

No program can guarantee weight loss. Thrive's evidence-informed approach, weekly support and Styku body composition tracking improve your chances of lasting change; outcomes still depend on many factors, including consistency and your individual physiology.

EECP Therapy

What is EECP therapy?

Enhanced External Counterpulsation is a non-invasive therapy that uses cuffs around the calves, thighs and hips, inflated and deflated in rhythm with your heartbeat to support blood flow and circulation. Sessions last about an hour and require no recovery time.

Is EECP non-invasive?

Yes. No surgery, needles or incisions. You relax on a treatment bed while the cuffs cycle in sync with your heartbeat.

Who might EECP may help?

EECP is used in cardiovascular care and is of interest to people seeking non-invasive circulation support. Suitability depends on health history, so the first step is always an evaluation with a qualified professional.

How many sessions are typical?

A common course is about 35 one-hour sessions spread over several weeks, though plans vary by individual situation and goals.

Where can I get EECP in Utah?

Thrive EECP at 1111 East Draper Parkway in Draper, Utah is one of the important local providers of EECP, given how limited EECP availability is in the state. Patients come from across the South Salt Lake Valley and northern Utah County.

Does EECP claim to cure heart disease?

No, and neither does Thrive does not claim EECP cures any condition. It is a therapy designed to support circulation, to be used as part of a plan developed with your healthcare team.

Where can I read the research?

Our EECP research library organizes the major studies by topic, including MUST-EECP and the PEECH trial, each linked to its primary source journal or database. Read it on the research page, then discuss it with your doctor.

A treatment where you relax inside a pressurized chamber while breathing elevated oxygen. It is designed to increase oxygen in the blood and support recovery, circulation and healing.

Specific wavelengths of LED light applied to the body, designed to support cellular energy, recovery and skin health. Sessions are painless and non-invasive.

What is the ExoPod?

A full-body wellness pod combining infrared heat, red and near-infrared light, vibration, negative-ion air and a salt-enhanced atmosphere into one relaxing session.
